Nashua Mobile informed their subscribers last week that their accounts would be moved.

All Cell C subscribers are to be moved to Altech Autopage Cellular while MTN and Vodacom will be moved to the relevant Network.

Autopage, purchase Nashua Mobile’s 65,000 Cell C clients for approximately R91.5 million. The total sum including MTN and Vodacom is R2.26 billion – much of which will be used to settle liabilities of Nashua Mobile.

Nashua Mobile revenues started to decrease due to decreasing incentives offered by the Networks as a result of reduced tariff prices.

"The customers will see no impact at all. There will be no bureaucracy, there will be no paperwork to fill in,” Nashua Mobile chief executive, Mark Taylor.
